Seville Airport; Aeropuerto de Sevilla

Seville has its own airport, situated on the A4 motorway (E05) connecting Seville with Madrid and relatively easy access to Jerez, Málaga, Cádiz, and Huelva.

Bus Services

There is a very good airport bus service that operates from the airport into the centre of Seville, stopping at Santa Justa railway station and Puerta de Jerez. The buses run from 06:15 to 23:00 about every 30 minutes.
In general the buses in Spain are quite modern, and generally quite comfortable. Depending on traffic, they are also relatively fast, and certainly much cheaper than Taxis that can be very expensive.
There are two bus stations in Seville, Prado de San Sebastian the one you arrive at from the airport, and Plaza de Armas.

Prado de San Sebastian

Most buses local busses leave from Plaza de Armas.

Train Services

Seville's main train station is called San Justa from here a train to Madrid takes about 2.5 hours. Travel by bus is a little more complicated - If you are not planning on staying in Seville but don't know which bus station you want, get a taxi from the airport and ask your taxi driver which station you need (he should have rudimentary English skills). Spain, the capital city of Andalusia, and Spain's 4th largest city. The city's Christian Gothic and Baroque style 'Catedral de Santa María de la Sede', is the largest in Spain, and the symbol of the city, it's Islamic style bell tower 'La Giralda', one of the best known towers in the world. A converted minaret, the tower is 70 meters high and provides a splendid viewpoint over the city.

Complimenting the cathedral is the splendor of the Almohade Alcázar, a palace still in use by members of the Spanish royal family, Plaza de España located in the Parque de María Luisa, and The Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza de Caballería de Sevilla the oldest bullring in Spain. To the east of the Alcázar lies the picturesque Barrio de Santa Cruz, which in Arab times was the Jewish quarter (Judería). It is now a district of flower-decked squares and streets, with many attractive patios, bars and restaurants.
