Visiting Kenya

Kenya is easily one of the most friendly and enjoyable countries in the world. Situated on the East cost of Africa boardering with Somalia and Ethiopia to the north and Tanzania to the South, its coastline is on the western edge of the Indian Ocean. Kenya is best known for Safari, and has an abundance of well-managed nature reserves across the country, where lions, rhinos, elephants, zebras, antelopes and birds can be seen in the wild. The Masai Mara is one of the best known and most popular reserves in the whole of Africa. It lies just outside Nairobi and can be visited by taxi from the capital.

From Nairobi airport, you can travel onwards to the coast reaching Kenya's second largest city Mombasa. Here you will find that Kenya also has beautiful white sand beaches along it's coastline, with palm trees, blue seas and a wealth of sealife. Nearby also are the game reserves of Tsavo East and West. Kenya was last colonized by the British, which has left a major influence on the language, culture and legal system, Kiswahili is the official language of Kenya however English is a widely spoken.
